Spectre HB simulation issue

Hi,

i'm using spectre HB simulation on PA (Power Amplifier) test_bench to perform large signal analysis (i want to plot Output power vs intput power, PAE and Gain)

Although the simulation returns no error, i still can't plot anything. seem like there is an issue with the ports i'm using. (analoglib ports)

i attach an image of my configuration so maybe you can find something helpful in it.

thank you all for your help

best regards

There's not really enough to go on here. Perhaps you could provide:

    1. Which IC subversion you're using (Help->About in the CIW)
    2. Which spectre subversion you're using (this will appear at the top of the spectre.out log file when running simulation)
    3. The analysis statements from the bottom of the input.scs so we can see how that is set up in the netlist
    4. Ideally the entire spectre.out log file
    5. Information about what and how  you are trying to plot the results
    6. Maybe look in Tools->Results Browser and expand the hb results folder and see what signals are present?

    Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

    i solved this problem.

the problem was that in the "Direct plot form" window i didn't select elements in  the good order. i should select the harmonic (1  xG) before trying to select the Port on the schematic. I did so  and the problem was solved.

    thank you for your answer.

    regards,
