multiple S-parameter Simulation touchstone save

Hi

I want to do an S-parameter simulation and sweep a design variable in ADE XL setup and save each S-parameter results in a separated touchstone file

But when I give an address in Output Parameter 'file' field, it just saves last simulation result in sweep

I don't know how can save all results

Thanks

Presumably you've giving a full path. Rather than doing that, give a file name without the path component, and then it will get saved in the netlist directory for each sweep point. That's the simplest way of doing this.

    Andrew.

    Thanks for your attention Andrew,

It saves touchstone in netlist directory for single run

But when I do it in ADE XL, the touchstone file goes to sharedData  directory, and updates at each simulation. finally I have the last step result

That seems a bit strange to me - even if you've turned on some of the environment variables which would result in the netlist file being shared, I don't think the sp file should end up being shared.

Which sharedData directory are you talking about? Can. you please let me know the full path to that, and also the IC and spectre sub-versions that you're using?

If you make the output file "../psf/file.s2p" or similar, does that help (i.e. in the psf dir instead)?

    Andrew.

    IC6.1.6-65b.500.9

    ../adexl/results/data/Interactive.0/sharedData/Job20/ahdl/input.ahdlSimDB

    "../psf/file.s2p" didn't work

    Hi amirbrad,

I recommend filing a Case with Cadence Online Support https://support.cadence.com .   That way an AE can walk through this with you and give suggestions (and file a CCR if necessary).   We answer questions on the forum after our "day job".   This seems like a weird error.
