I cant find PACmag in cadence

Hi guys.

I have a really silly question. I'm using cadence IC617 and I can't find the location in which to set up PAC magnitude for PAC analysis. I tried PORT and Vsource but the only thing that is available is AC magnitude, not PAC!

I attached a pic of my PORT's property window.

appreciate ur help!

This is likely to be one of two things:

    1. The analogLib you're using is some modified version coming from another simulator vendor, and not the one we ship. Check the path to the analogLib to see where it is coming from - you can do this by going over the library name in the library manager and doing Right Mouse->Properties and checking to see if the readPath is some vanilla Cadence installation or somewhere else?
    2. You have Options->Tool Filter set to have some simulator other than "spectre" enabled

I can't think what else it would be, because this parameter has been there for ever (certainly at least 20 years).

    Andrew

    The problem is solved.

I enabled the checkbox for parameter display, so this parameter continues to exist :)
