Help Taking Measurements from Harmonic Balance Simulations

Hello,

I'm running AWR Microwave Office on version 13.03r build 8415 Rev 1. I'm new to the software, and so far I've been unable to take measurements that require HB simulation.

When I add a nonlinear measurement to a graph using APLAC HB (e.g. the CDC measurement of a varactor as shown in the Varactor_Plot example, or the total power PT at a node where I've placed an MProbe) and begin the simulation, I'm met with the error message "Can't perform harmonic balance simulation at 0 frequency." I have a project-wide logarithmic frequency sweep from 100MHz to 1GHz, so I'm quite sure that I'm not attempting any DC-only simulation. I have also tried to use the Harmonic Balance (legacy) simulator, and similarly I see the message "Unable to compute [CDC measurement]."

I have tried setting an alternative range of frequencies exclusive to this schematic (FDOC rather than FPROJ) and using that (held constant at 50 MHz) in the measurement settings to no avail. I've made sure that in Options > Default Circuit Options > AWR Sim Tab I have enabled the "Compute Q, C and G for nonlinear sources" option. I have changed the simulation type to Frequency domain in the APLAC Sim tab's Scripting Options and set a Nominal Frequency of 50 MHz in Miscellaneous Options, and I'm still getting the same error messages.

I hope that this is something simple that I'm missing, since a lot of my intended use for AWRMO involves HB simulation.

I'm also intending on updating my software version to the latest v16 release in the very near future, but this problem is debilitating enough to one of the program's main features that I doubt it's anything other than a personal issue. If so I will most likely run into it again on the new version.

I appreciate any help anyone can throw my way.

Thanks!

I could be talking to myself here, but an update in case anyone else has the same issue:

The error complaining that harmonic balance can't be performed at zero frequency was solved by changing one of my ports from a "termination" to a "source" in the port's Properties > Port tab > Port type settings. The error saying that the simulation was unable to compute the CDC measurement has persisted, however.
