Hello,

I have an education license for OrCAD and would like to install it silently thought a command. I have try :

  • ./OrCADXInstall.exe /s
  • ./OrCADXInstall.exe /s /v"/qn"
  • ./OrCADXInstall.exe !quiet=./silentinstall.ini (as per https://resources.pcb.cadence.com/blog/2025-client-orcad-x-installation )
  • ./OrCADXInstall.exe /VERYSILENT

Can anyone help ? Or know where to find a more completed documentation for the installation ?

is this a SUL version of OrCAD that you have? Please confirm.  !quiet=./silentinstall.ini is available with full enterprise solution of SPB 24.1 release in DISK1. Also, it works with setup.exe also in DISK1

it's a OrCAD X Professional Plus activated with an academic account

I have tried the !quiet=./silentinstall.in because nothing worked, but I don't have a disk file, just an exe installer.
