Creating and Editing Zones in OrCAD X Presto

OrCAD X Presto lets designers create Rigid and Flex PCBs by giving options to create and edit zones.

Before creating zones, you need to set up the stackup in Cross-section Editor. You can define different stackups for different zones in a single window like Primary, Flexi1, and Lcd Stiffener, as shown below:

Once the stackup and board outline are in place, you can start creating the different zones.

To create the zones, select the Setup > Flex > Create Zones.

Use the options from the following floating window to create the zone of your choice.

After creating the zones, define bends in the zones. To create the bends, select Setup > Flex > Create > Bends

This will look like the following:
