How to generate BGA fanouts by using Via Structures

Follow these steps to create the dog-bone-style fanouts for any BGA.

       1. Begin by creating a fanout for a BGA pin, as shown in the following image.

        2. Open the Structures wizard by clicking on the Structure icon in the floating window.

       3. Access the Create tab in the Structures wizard and generate a via structure.

       4. In the Place tab, select the newly created structure from the Structure list.

       5. Next, click and hold the mouse button while moving the mouse to draw a window that encompasses the desired BGA pins.

 

       6. You have the option to select an angle for structure rotation or enable the Align With Selection feature to align the structure with a pin.
