3DXcanva does not suppress the unused pad on via

Hi,

I have an Orcad X professional license and I use SPB_23.1 HF2.

I have noted that 3DXcanva does not suppress the unused pad of via. The problem occurs will Orcad Presto or Orcad PCB editor.

In Orcad PCB editor, we have the freedom to use either 3Dcanva or 3DXcanva. When I use 3Dcanva, the unused via are correctly suppressed. This fact seems to confirms that the cross section has the corect setting, and that my pad stack do not have bugs.

Is it a documented limitation of 3DXcanva?

Thanks

Hello gvellet, this is currently a limitation with 3DX Canvas. This is reported to Cadence R&D now under CCR 2955567.

    Hi,

Is there an access in the support website for the outstanding CCR?

Hello gvellet, I will contact you through another channel and share the process.

Also, I will update here once the CCR is fixed and the fix is available to download.
