How to do pin swapping in OrCAD X Presto

Let us explore how to do simple pin swapping in OrCAD X Presto. First, locate the move command on the floating toolbar and right-click on it:

The swap command will appear as part of a group of commands. After clicking on it, it will open the following floating menu:

To swap pins, select the Pins tab. You can also choose the options like “Ripup Routes” and “Display Rats On Pick100

Adjust your selection filter to Pins only:

Now, select the two pins you want to swap:

         

As a result, the pins will be swapped and the rats will showcase it:

Notice that there is a check box to swap attributes.

Once you select this, Pins are swapped with their attributes, which you can specify in the Attributes section of the Properties panel.
