OrCAD X Presto – Tip of the week: Customizing keyboard shortcuts in OrCAD X Presto

OrCAD X Presto provides quick access to interface-based commands and navigation controls by using standard shortcut keys.

Presto has some shortcut keys assigned to commands, which can be checked using Preferences dialog box.

Additionally, you can assign or remove keyboard shortcuts from any command or display control in OrCAD X Presto by using the following steps:

  1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
  2. Open the Shortcuts (Hotkeys)page to view the default shortcut key assignments.

        

3. Double-click the shortcut cell in the table to change or add a new shortcut key.

Press a key or the combination of keys that you want to assign. The new key is displayed in bold to indicate it as an overridden value. A Reset button also starts displaying.
