zero length pin

Hi everybody,

I would like to know why in the LDO LM782 i chose the connection pin power to gnd is in zero-length shape, So in the schematic i can't connect a wire frokm my ground supply to the GND pin of the regulator.

1. how i can connect the gnd supply to my GND pin connection in the LDO?

2. why using a zero length conncection pin instead of line pin shape , that's more convenientin the wire connection porcedure?

You're describing an issue with a board as if we can see the components. Care to share a screenshot? Also ... it looks like you're describing a schematic issue in a layout forum. Correct me if I'm wrong.
