Presto Bugs Report

1.The Local language support is functioning, but there's a bug where, when both Local Language and English text appear simultaneously, two buttons are created on the panel.

2. When drawing a Shape, like when selecting a point to create, the focus is suddenly lost.
3. When drawing a Wire, like when selecting a pin to connect, the focus is suddenly lost.
4. Editing a Shape, like when typing to resize the shape, the focus is suddenly lost.

5. I often need to modify individual pads when designing component footprints. However, the current measurement tool only supports measuring center distances or spacings between elements, which is insufficient for precise pad editing. Could the following enhancements be considered to improve usability?

  1. Add direct measurement capabilities for pad dimensions (length/width) and inner-element distances.
  2. Implement dimensioning tools similar to AutoCAD, allowing users to annotate specific features (e.g., pad diameters).
  3. Provide real-time dimension feedback when editing pads.
  4. Enhance the Snap function to support edge and corner snapping for pads. This is a fundamental feature required for accurate alignment.
This functionality would greatly streamline the footprint design process, especially for custom components.

This would be a great feature.  I can measure all sorts of things in Altium.  All I can measure in Presto are gaps between objects.
