OrCAD X Presto- Tip of the week: How to copy shapes from one layer to another?

To get the functionality like ZCopy, you can follow below steps:

  1. Make sure that the Snapping is set to Shape-Center.

  2. Select the shape to be copied and then press Ctrl + C.

  3. Right mouse click and choose “Paste Special”. Select the target layer in the dialog box that pops up.



  4. Now, hover the paste cursor over the original shape center and see that it snaps to the shape center. Click on the desired overlap to copy the shape to target layers.
