Orcad X Presto Livedoc Fabrication File Variables

I've been working on creating a fabrication file template in Livedoc and noticed a panel containing various customizable variables. However, I’m a bit confused about how to properly use them, as there doesn’t seem to be any documentation available.

I followed the basic EMA walkthrough, but these specific variables weren’t covered. Does anyone have experience with utilizing them, or know of any documentation from Cadence that might help?

Thanks in advance!

Could you please share more details about the template and the variables you're struggling with? This will enable me to provide more tailored advice or direct you to relevant resources. Additionally, you can also find helpful information in the Orcad X Presto documentation, which can be accessed via Help>Documentation.

    Hi,

Thank you for your information. I was able to find the variables information under the Documentation as you mentioned. It is unfortunate that the info is not readily available on any Cadence website.

I find that livedoc isn't ready yet at all.  I just use the old pcb tool for making gerbers, Fab drawings, etc.  Same as Altium's Draftman... it's almost there... but still junky right now.  Be great if Orcad would add in the post processing stuff into Presto like they have in the old tool and keep the Livetool and just keep working on it till it's ready.  I'd call it a Beta app right now... just like Presto.
