Hello,

I have a short question regarding a trouble on SIP netname.
on my design i have netname like  IO625/LVDS6 , it seems the "/ " is not really appreciate by the system , espacially to do extractions, and I would like to replace it by "_".
How can I do that? I try to find a solution but no success?
Do you have a solution and can you help me whith a not to hard solution?
Regards

First you will need to set the Cadence tool, so that net renaming is enabled (the default setting is off).  Go into SETUP>USER PREFERENCES in your tool bar.  Scroll down to LOGIC in the pop-up window.  Check the value for the preference: “logic_edit_enabled”.  Select APPLY and OK.   To rename a net, select LOGIC from the toolbar, and scroll down to NET LOGIC.  In the pop-up window, enter the net name you wish to change, or click on the net in the work area.  Select RENAME in the pop-up window and give the net a new name.   Click the right mouse button and  select DONE. The alternative to this method would be to export libraries and the netlist, then open the netlist file, change the net name in the file and save.  Then you would have to import the netlist to have the change take effect.
