How to connect traces of different nets?

Hi All

I need to connect traces of different nets, say net A & B at bottom layer, without DRC in SPB16.5.

Is there a property setting that I can use for this purpose? Or there is a waiver setting in CM?

  • Assign a NET_SHORT property, Pin or Via Pin is best assignment, Shape assignment isn't great, see the propref.pdf in the doc\propref directory of the installation. This will "waive" the DRC for the shorted nets. You can assign this to a Pin in the Schematic and flow this to PCB Editor if you need to document this in the schematic.
