Moving C-Lines to different layer

sivavayu

I am trying to move a group of traces from one layer to another layer.

I tried select all traces-> right click->Change Layer -> <Choose Layer>

I get this error SPMHGE-510): Connecting pin is not on new subclass.

All I want is the traces to move to a different layer. I already have vias on that layer that would connect to traces.

Thanks.

    you can try z copy

    Edit --> Z-Copy

    then select the clines you want to copy.

    after you copy the clines to a different layer, you delete the original clines.

    you can change the layer of the clines only if the clines are not connected to any nets.
