APD+ 22.1 on Linux Environment Abnormal Display

APDCloud
APDCloud over 2 years ago

My company is using APD+ on a Linux platform and I have encountered some display concerns as the following:

1. Whenever I hover my mouse over a via, it abnormally zooms in (my screen becomes the color of the drill for example) even though I am not scrolling the mouse wheel.

2. Whenever I select multiple items on the layout (e.g. selecting vias, traces and/or components) the items become invisible and with that, I have to guess the area of selection.

My temporary workaround is to disable the openGL however doing so, it will make all vias, traces, and pads become opaque, and I am not really used to this kind of display setting.

Hope you can help me.

Hello, which hotfix of the APD+ 22.1 are you working on? To check this you can open APD+ and go to Help > About menu and check the bottom line.

Hi APDCloud, It looks like openGL (Graphic card driver) issue. I will be needing some additonal data to debug this further. I’ll be contacting you through a different channel.

Thanks mahimag. Acknowledged on your email. Currently, I am still waiting for our IT team to get a response about the driver.
