Multiple touch points for bond wires on a die pin

Does anyone know whether it is possible to have multiple contact points for a bond wire on a large die pad? Note: This is different from adding multiple wires which I will also be doing. I need to add multiple bond connections to the same large die pad for redundancy connections to each pad for each wire. I have a large die pad which I need to have 5 wires with each wire having 3 bond connections to the same die pad.

Can you enable the variable 'wirebond_multiwire_pins' from Setup > User Preferences and then run the Add Wirebond command?

@JS532, did setting the variable helped resolve the issue?

    Hi TCHA,

My answer, is "kind of". When I ended up needing to do is add guidelines to the die pad in several different location. It was the only way to add the wires consistently to tack them in several different points on the same die pad. The challenge I face with this approach is that I cannot use the mutli-wire option to achieve 5 wires - all the wires must be added separately and manually. It's quite time consuming. I was hoping to be able to use the multi-wire option to achieve this. It appears not. I have 5 wires being attached to 3 contact points on each pad across 3-4 different die. This is being done for current & redundancy.

    Hi JS532,

Since debugging this issue requires data exchange, we will contact you through a different channel.
