hello, help me!

There are many change in the bump design. I want to design bump by APD.

The bump(die) is a stagger , create it by die generator.

Because, the pin is not isometric. In order to RDL routing, so the bump is not isometric.

I move the symbol pin in APD symbol edit(as show in the picture),  and selected symbol RBM write device file, write library symbol.

Export the bga text( bga text out) ,But the bump is not modified, the bump is still stagger.

Can you help me!

pitch2> pitch1

thanks

Hello zpofrp, if you select all the pins in the Symbol Edit Application Mode, right mouse click will give you an option to align and respace:

Can you try aligning using this method and see if it goes in the export?

zpofrp, I have tried this and if you are saving the mcm after the changes and then export the bga text out file, it should contain the changes. You can also verify it in the BGA Text out Step 4

can you confirm if the required pin which you have changed has the updated coordinates or not?

Yes, the BGA ball is OK,but the bump is wrong. I don't know the reason.

I find the modified bump has a propertie"pin is EXPLODED from symbol".

Hello zpofrp, at the symbol instance level, a pin is "exploded" when a change is made to its physical definition that differentiates it from  its description in the parent symbol definition.

It could be that a pin's location, rotation, or padstack has been modified, at the symbol instance level, that differentiates it from the symbol definition. In that case, the pin in the symbol instance no longer points to its physical data in the symbol definition, but now owns its own physical data (i.e. it's physical description is "exploded" from the symbol definition)
