How to find out a misaligned via from a via stack

I am performing a package design with many blind / buried vias. The blind / buried vias of adjacent layers are stacked only if via centers are aligned. Is there a way to find out the misaligned vias?

The via, 1:3, shown in the following image is misaligned from the stack:

Vias can be stacked only if their centers are aligned (as shown below)

You can detect a misaligned via from the Reports > Stacked Via Report command.

Search for the word “misaligned” in the Stacked Via Report to check for the misaligned vias.

If search returns '"misaligned" not found', as shown in the following screenshot, it means that there are no misaligned vias in the design:

If there are any misaligned vias, the report will highlight the misaligned vias as shown below:

You can align these vias to the stack and when you run the report again, it will show '"misaligned" not found'.

Blind and buried vias only stack correctly when their centers are perfectly aligned; otherwise, misalignment can cause manufacturing issues, signal integrity problems, and reliability concerns.

To find misaligned vias in your package design, use the Reports > Stacked Via Report command. Search for "misaligned" in the report; if it's found, the report will highlight the misaligned vias, which you can then align to ensure proper stacking.
