 hello,

i am in beginer in orcad capture. I am using version 16.5 . Basically the schematic which i intend to draw  is larger than the page size in terms of area.

Is there any method to increase the page size? if yes then how? and if no, then what how do i fit my large schematic into small orcad page??  please reply.

regards,

gaurav mohta

Existing Pages: go to the page in the Project Manager window, right-click>Schematic Page Properties, Page Size tab.

For a new Design, page defaults, Options>Design Template, Page Size tab

Don't feel compelled to fit everything on one page, use the Off-Page Connectors to connect pages in flat designs, Hierarchical Ports to connect the hierarchy in Hierarchical designs.

    Hi oldmouldy.

I'm using Orcad Capture 17.4 and still it seems there's the same problem across different versions of Capture. Whenever I try to change the page size, nothing happens. It does change in the settings, but the actual size of the schematics area stays the same. What should I do to fix the problem?

Make sure the software is updated with hotfix S018.

In 17.4 capture goto - Options - schematic page properties and you see the below window. Under custom, you can define the required page size in mm/ inches.
