Error code (ORCAP-1805)

I have been using my new copy of orcad 16.7 on a windows 7 computer for about a year.  Today I tried to create a netlist and got the following error code

QUESTION(ORCAP-1805): One or more errors or warnings were encountered.

I have seen this many times however when I click on yes to view the errors nothing happens and no log of the errors is created and of course no net list is created, this has never happened to me before has anyone any idea what I did wrong?

This error happened to me today.  I wasn't creating a netlist, but was trying to export the BOM.  Turns out it was unable to continue until I closed the .BOM file that was opening automatically in Excel.

Not the same problem, but maybe anyone with the above problem can use this as a clue.  Perhaps bradly had opened the netlist.

Hi I have seen similar in the past.

On my system here which is windows 7 also,  running capture as an administrator resolved the issue.

Try right clicking on the capture Icon and select properties. Go to the compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator" click apply then ok.

See if it works for you at that end.

    All the best.
