Linking a part from library to CIS database

KobiC

I'm trying to create a new database at Orcad CIS for components I've already created, which are located in different olb files (i.e - capacitors.olb, diodes.olb etc).

The database tables of each part type (capacitors, diodes etc) are ready with all the usual properties (description, footprint, manufacturer etc), and the table are already filled with the components that I had manually

inserted.

My question - how do I make the link between each row in the database to the physical part in its olb part (symbol, specific PN etc.)?

When OrCAD starts up it will log to the status window exactly which file it is using.  If you have that many you need to do some house cleaning.  Keep just the one in the <install path>\tools\bin
