17.20 Schematic .DSN "PDF Export" using GhostScript - How to configure for Black-and-White only?

Dear Forum.

Since Microsoft W10 built-in PDF-Writer (Print->Select Device->Print to PDF) does not include all pages in a hierarchy, I tried using the Menu option "PDF-Export" which invokes GhostScript as a .PDF-write engine.

It works, but the results are in color. I have browsed through some of the GS documentation but not found the arguments used for setting B/W output.

(And I do not know if editing the argument window is transient or not - OR - If the settings are editable somewhere in an .INI-file)

Any hints on how to accomplish this?

This is controlled by the Postscript Driver, GhostScript just converts the Postscript to PDF. In Control Panel, Devices and Printers, select the Postscript Drive device, OrCADPS_17.2 is the one that the installer sets up, right-click>Printer Properties, then Preferences, Paper / Quality and select Black & White. (You could setup another Postscript Driver and have the Preferences set for that if you wanted to select B&W, or Color, with the Postscript Driver setting)

Unfortunately your suggestion did not work. Editing the preferences in that driver to "A3", "Landscape" and "B/W" did not help. The output was still in color. And then, trying the Microsoft write2pdf driver did generate B/W but not all pages, and then trying PDF|Export again revealed that the settings for the OrCADPS_17.2 had reverted back to "Letter" and "Color".

We abandoned Adobe Acrobat as .PDF writer because of increasing site license costs but that driver did work. Microsofts does NOT. I shall investigate if there is any other free .PDF printer software around...
