Import user defined property from Capture schematic to PCB-Editor Layout

Hey all,

I have defined in my schematic symbols the component mounting style as a user-defined property; I'd like to import it to PCB-Editor to be able to faster create the pick and place report without having to create two different files reports (one with the component coordinate and the other with the list of all the pad hole, if it has a hole it is TH) and then work them into excel.

Thank you!

Look at PCB - Design Sync Setup and enable Create User Defined Properties. You will also need to go to Tools - Create Netlist, Setup button and edit the allegro.cfg file to add the property name. usually in ComponentDefinitionProps section the property name = Yes So MyProperty=YES. save the file and this is then transferred to PCB editor via the netlist.
