There's a few pretty new buttons; Update Layout and Update schematic, but the rest is a disaster. I'm finding that it's very laggy and it crashes a lot. It used to be reliable and snappy. Now I cross my fingers every time I open it.

    Hi,

I have things to get accomplished this week, so I am going back to S015 until things get fixed with S017 or whatever.  That would be my advice to anybody right now.  A number of my contracting friends have noticed a number of different issues including sluggishness, outright crashes and now this thing with buggy dialog boxes.

    Folks,

Found the issue with the netlist importation dialog box shown earlier.  It appears another program had changed my default system font from Segoe UI to a similar but semi-bold version of Segoe UI.  I was able to determine this fact when I checked a recent installation log I get from my Revo Uninstaller installer log and that gave me the clue to what might have happened.  I went in and changed the system font back to the default.  Now the dialog boxes are completely visible and usable now.  I changed them back to see if it was reproducible and it was, again, the dialog boxes where nearly unusable like the picture I uploaded earlier.

I am a bit concerned about this behavior that Allegro's dialog boxes would be that sensitive to a small change in a system font?!

So, if any program changes the system font in Windows 10, be prepared to see Allegro dialog boxes that are potentially unusable and/or unreadable.  Hope this helps others who might experience this behavior.
