installation of Orcad 17.4 with download manager

Hi everybody,

I want to instal the Orcad 17.4 first time. Is it possible using "download manager"?

Where the "download manager" could be downloaded?

Or I should use the DVD for the first installation?

I doubt that you can find a DVD with the 17.4 installation image on it, the compressed files are around 8G. You can get the Download Manager from the Cadence Support site, support.cadence.com, under Software>Download Software, "Windows" and "Whole Media images" as preferences, then look in OrCAD / Allegro 17.4 (SPB174) for the Download Manager Base Release from 4th January 2021. The Download Manager uses the same credentials as the Cadence Support site account to access the download resources.
