Parts Manager BOM replaces all fields with "Do Not Stuff"

Is there a way to generate a BOM with parts manager and only show "Do Not Stuff" in a "Mounting Status" column rather than replacing all fields with "Do Not Stuff"?

I would like the report to show the Quantity, Value, Description, PCB Footprint, Manufacturer, and Manufacturer PN values.

Thanks for any help!

I believe the only way you can make this happen is by using Part Manager to flag all of these parts as Not Present in a group of parts, which become a member of a Variant.

"Do Not Stuff" is user defined verbage.

Do you have a variant configured in this project?  BOMS are typically extracted based on a Variant.   Groups are parts of Variants.

Enter following command in Capture's command window:

    SetOptionString CisBomDisplayPartNumberForDNS TRUE

Now create CIS variant BOM. You should be able to see part number for DNS parts in CIS variant BOM.

This didn't seem to work for me.

The Command Window accepted the command as valid, but there was no change to the resultant BOM spreadsheet. It still looked like OP's example with all the fields replaced with "Do Not Stuff". I tried generating the BOM both from the Part Manager, right-clicking on the variant, Reports>StandardBOM, and I also tried generating the BOM through the top menu Reports>CIS Bill of Materials>Standard. I also tried closing and re-opening Allegro DE CIS to see if the command needed to a restart to take effect.

None of these seemed to work, and each time, the generated BOM looked like OP's example.

    Any other ideas?
