Cannot modify schematic instance after occurrences have been assigned

I have a large design which has hierarchical blocks containing a circuit I utilise 12 times. I have already generated a PCB file of the design and begun the layout of the circuit, however I need to add some additional capacitors to the instance and I dont seem to be able to do this. Whenever I click on the schematic view of the circuit it asks me to select the occurrence I wish to edit, it will take far too long to add caps to 12 designs when they are identical anyway. Is there anyway to modify the instance of the schematic rather than the occurrence without taking massive back steps or adding parts to each page manually?

Regards, Jarez95

Yes, when we try to click on schematic, it asks to select occurrence. We can select any occurrence and then add additional part on that occurrence schematic. It will automatically add that part to all other occurrences. It won't be needed to add it manually on all underlying schematics.
