Capture designs are cached designs

If you are someone who often needs to share your schematic design files, you probably know how important it is to have all library parts present with the design. A ‘cached design’ contains all library symbols in the design file.

So, even if you move only the design file (.DSN) from one location to another or even to a different PC, no symbol goes missing from the design, because it is all there. And all these cached parts can be seen under Design Cache in the project manager pane.

Learn more about Design Cache and its significance here.
