OrCAD - Tip of the Week: Find a signal in entire design

One of the most taxing things to do in a schematic design is to verify the connectivity. Signals flow across multiple pages and hierarchies. There are nets with different names, shorted at various places in the design.

OrCAD Capture offers a convenient way to check the connectivity of a net in the entire design. For this, right-click on a net/port and select Signals.

The signal window gives you all the information about that signal, including its connectivity and page. You can also highlight a net by double-clicking on a row. It will open the page containing the net with the net selected.
