Hi, I am trying to open a DSN file in Capture CIS (17.2) and it opens as below. Can you help me what is wrong with the Capture CIS?

Thanks. Jan

If there is any back up of the design, try renaming the backup file with extension .dsn and then try opening the design.

For ex: If back file is there with name test.dsnbak then rename it as test.dsn and then try to open it in Capture.

If still issue persists, try export EDIF and then Import EDIF. See if it helps.

There is not any back up file and export to EDIF is not possible (inactive caption). I have tried to unistall and install Orcad but it does not work as well. It is interesting that files that were opened successfully before this issue happened can be opened normally. But the files that were not opened so far is not possible to open.

    Hi,

Seems some issue has come up with dsn and no binary data inside dsn. You may want to contact Cadence customer support with dsn with which you are facing this issue.
