My download manager is no working with Cadence 17.4 installation

Hi Expert,

I am from TI and first time to use Cadence. Yesterday I install Cadence 17.4 in TI download link. But I have two questions as below:

1.  The download manager is not working. See below screenshot.

2. When I open the Cadence, there is a warning "you are currently offline". My computer already connects to internet and VPN.

Do you know how can I connect to online?

Thank you very much!

Nancy

You are running the 17.4 Base Release and the user security at the Cadence sites now requires TLS 1.2 which isn't supported by the original Download Manager. You need to create an account / log into the Cadence Support site and get the latest Download Manager version installed before it will work with the current Cadence resources.

    Hi Oldmouldy,

I have another question about associate PSpice model. I use model editor 17.4  to create a model and add it to the schematic. But I can not do associate PSpice model since it is greyed out. see below. Do you know what the reason is? In SPB17.2, I can do associate PSpice model.

    Thanks,

    Nancy
