Design Cache change not pushed to schematic?

Wondering if someone could shed some light on this.

I have a design that was given to me that was converted from Altium and has a number of things that need to be corrected before I can generate a netlist. Some of the issues include part outlines being the wrong size and pushing pins out, far from the "body" of the component. I went to the library, edited the part, and saved it. I then replaced the part in the design cache with the corrected part. Ive done this by checking "Replace Schematic Part Properties" as well as "Preserve.." I're also tried Updating the Cache after having replaced it. But the changes don't seem to push to the schematic. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks

If you want to replace any existing part with corrected part from some library through your design, then Replace cache should be used. Specially, when you have done some graphical changes in new part. Ideally it should work. It seems to be design specific issue. If Replace cache is not working at your end, please submit a ticket to cadence customer support including you design and library data. Is Replace cache working for other design which you created from scratch in Capture (Not converted from other tools)?
