How to export design data to csv format

If you ever need to export the design data like part or net information to a csv format, OrCAD Capture has you covered. Having design data in csv lets you review it in Excel.

You need to use the find function to create a csv file of the design. Open the Find dialog (Ctrl+F) and do the required search. You can check the design objects you need in your report. For example, if you need all parts in the design, uncheck everting but Parts and do a search for *.

In the Find Results dialog, you can configure what all properties you need to be displayed. Once configured, select all rows, right-click, and select Save as CSV. And you have your csv file.

    Hi,

I have no access to this dialog box with Orcad CIS 17.2-2016 S079, is it possible only with Orcad 17.4 ?

    Thanks,

Upgrade to latest hotfix. It should work in SPB 17.2 as well.
