OrCAD - Tip of the Week: Suppress a DRC warning

Your circuit may have some DRC warnings, which is not of concern. You know that the connection causing the DRC is correct and need not be reported. In such cases, you would not like to see that DRC warning in your Design Rules Check report.

 

You can choose to suppress the selective DRC warning when you run DRC on your design. Add the warning code using PCB > Design Rules Check > Exception Setup.
