Fix your library using the Capture library verification utilities

How many times have you seen that one odd part in your library has duplicate pin names, or may be some pin numbers are missing? And it is noticed when the part is placed in a design, and then during netlisting or DRC checks, it gets reported.

Finding one such part in a library is not an easy task. To avoid this, Capture offers the Library Correction Utility which can not only detect these problems but also auto-fix them if you want it to.

You will find this utility under the Accessories menu. 

Further, Capture also has a utility to find and remove corrupt parts from a library. If you are unable to open a library in Capture, it is generally due to one or more corrupt parts in it. To remove them, use the Check/Correct Corrupt Library feature from Tools > Utilities.
