Unable to place some parts with CIS. "ORCIS-6085"

This is very frustrating and I have no way to move forward using this tool with this error.

I have everything setup and it works with 90% of components, but no matter what I do, some components simply will not work.

Trying to place the component directly through the database results in an OS error: "Windows cannot find [PART NUMBER]. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again" which make no sense, and the OrCAD error: "ERROR(ORCIS-6129): The specified file was not found"

I am able to manually place the part from the library fine without using the database manager, but trying to link it results in "WARNING(ORCIS-6085): Could not read part information from [Schematic Part name]"

These errors are completely unhelpful and I have been stuck on them all day.

Edit: Finally figured it out. Some path got messed up in my ini file. I am not sure why some components were still working fine. Fixing that seems to have resolved it.

Hi, I'm having this same problem.   Do you know which path was wrong? Or can give me any hints on what to check in the .ini file?

    Cheers.
