Capture CIS: SamacSys Search provider: cannot download (pulse error)

Hi everybody.

I used to be able to search and download using Samacsys and Ultralibrarian search providers. Now Ultralibrarian keeps working fine, while I can search and list results from SamacSys but I cannot download. (using Capture 17.4 -2019 S031)

When I doubleclick to download, I get the following error "ERROR (SPPSUN-1): Unable to process this request for SamacSys because of an internal error. Error: [424] null. Check the Pulse log for details."

Tried looking at the adwserver.out log in Pulse\atom_v6\server\log basically just repeat the same sentence (or I am looking at the wrong log).

Is it just me or is the server having issues with download? Are you folks able to download right now?

I tried reintalling the whole Orcad but no change.

The pulse server is running, restrting it does not help. Node health brings to a 404 error page, but not sure if that's impacting. Services are reported as running. Firewall disable does not help either

Please suggest some way to tackle this

Thanks!

EDIT:

I understood that the logs of pulse are the Capture_xxxx.log located in the target download folders . Reading the log I find the calls for ultralibrarian
[cdnSearchAddPart::handleDownloadedPart] [DEBUG] - LibName:ultralibrarian

no entry whatsoever for Samacsys - so it looks like the problem happens in Capture before Pulse is posted a request - and this happens just for Samacsys search provider

Looking at the log from 2021 (folder /history) instead (when samacsys download used to work for me) I can find handleDownloadedPart calls for "LibName:samacsys" too.

    Ok, problem fixed.
    Looks like in this year's time Samacsys changed the password policy and the old password was no longer recognized as valid (no warnings of course).
    I changed the password, changed the password in the matching Orcad account too and now everything works fine.

    Bugger.
    Must say the "seamless" interaction between Samacsys and Cadence was not designed that well.
