Concept HDL: Top to Bottom hierarchical approach and Rooms

Hi,

I'm using Concept HDL and had a few questions on a Top to Bottom hierarchical approach with Rooms called out. I have a PCB with four equally partitioned areas to place 4 equivalent circuits. Each circuit should be identical on the schematic and on the PCB layout. We can call them Block1, Block2, Block3 and Block4. Each block will have 100 parts. Of course, I do not want to manually create 4 100 piece circuits and I would like to see if I can get assistance with the following questions:

1. Can I create Block1 and have all 100 parts connected to a Room1?

2. Can I then copy Block1 three more times to create Block2, Block3 and Block4? If true, I'm assuming each Block will need to associated to Room2, Room3 and Room4, respectively.

3. If I change a resistor value on Block1, does that change automatically propagate same resistor change to Block2, Block3 and Block4?

Thank you.

    1. Yes, you can create block1 & have all the 100 parts connected in Room 1.

    2. You can copy the block1 3 times but, it doesn't automatically get mapped to room2,3,4. Easy way is export properties, open in excel & edit them & import properties.

    3. If you copy the block1 & change any values it will affect on all blocks. That's the disadvantage in copying blocks.
