Capture add intersheet reference lockup?

I have a schematic design that I cannot add intersheet references? (actually update them)

- the design had intersheet references

- edited the schematic and need to update the intersheet references

- run Annotate>Add Intersheet References>OK>OK (with same settings I've always used)

- Capture immediately locks up...

I have to run task manager and and end the OrCAD Capture task

It's something to do with this specific schematic, and only since I edited the schematic (remember, it previously had the intersheet references)

Here's what I've tried;

- I deleted the intersheet references (no lockup)

- Saved the design and tried adding them back, locks up

- cleared the cache also didn't help

- Updated Capture to the latest hot fix, running 17.4-2019-S032

Anyone else have this issue, and most importantly, find the fix?

    I also tried reproducing the issue at my end but with no success. You are right, it seems to be design specific issue. If you are still facing this issue, I suggest you to report it to Cadence customer support.

    FYI - I had create a new project, and then copied the pages one by one from the 'broken' project to the new one. Once done, the new project annotated without issue and has been fine since.... no idea what could have broken the old project.
