OrCAD – Tip of the Week: The ease of capturing schematic in dark theme

If your job is to design a circuit, you are certainly spending much of your time staring at screens. Well, who is not these days? 

Dark mode is a blessing for all whose work requires to spend hours looking at monitors and laptop screens. Dark mode emits less blue light, reducing eye fatigue and dryness, especially in low-light conditions. Designers spend lots of hours on the screen and working in the classic light theme causes eyestrain.

 OrCAD Capture also comes with the convenience to choose between dark and light themes.

You can enable the Dark/Light theme from Options > Preferences as shown below.

Changing the theme also changes the print settings automatically, such that you do not have to worry about the schematic not coming right on the paper.
