How to create a BOM that takes into consideration MFG P/N property that is named differently for different components?

Hi,

I want to find  away to create a BoM, that consists of three columns, first one is Quantity, and second one Internal P\N for our company, third is Manufacturer P\N.

The thing is, the library I use have components with Manufacturer P\N property that is named in different ways for example "MFG P\N, MFG_PartNumber#, Manufacturer P\N#", but Internal P\N is a unique property and it exists in all components.

I want to create a way that takes into consideration the different Manufacturer P\N Properties ("MFG P\N, MFG_PartNumber#, Manufacturer P\N#"), and counts all components with same Internal P\N and different Manufacturer P\N and puts them on the same row in excel with the total quantity.

Note: Manufacturer P\N property, which can be named differently, have always the same value in it (same MFG P\N value), so we can always choose to take this value as final value to place in third column in the generated BoM.

In Bill of Materials, I found that we can make Combined Property String, but this way generated multiple rows of same Internal P\N but each time considering different Manufacturer P\N ("MFG P\N, MFG_PartNumber#, Manufacturer P\N#"), and I had to combine all these rows together manually and sum all the quantities into final quantity.

Any help would be appreciated,

Not an elegant solution, but if you export an Excel BOM, including all the different MPN properties in different columns, you can use an Excel formula to merge those columns into one column, which is your 'true' MPN column.
