In Orcad Capture how to replace component

Hello,

In Capture, is there a quick way to select all the resistors of a specific value and change it? This includes to change all the properties.

I tried looking at the replace cache function. It looks like it would replace the resistor with some other type of component. I don't want that. I need to stay with resistors.

I have OrCAD Capture CIS 17.4-2019. I have access to the CIS Explorer with place database part.

Thanks

If you placed the parts using Place - Database Part then you can use Part Manager to replace many parts at once. Invoke Part Manager by selecting the design name in the Project Window then right click - Part Manager. This lists all the parts in your design. Sort by Part Number or Value then select all the parts you wish to change and use Right click - Link Database Part, this launches the CIS Explorer based on the value you currently have, using either the query or explore tab select the value / fields you want, then pick the required part from the list at the bottom and then right click - Link Database Part. This changes in your design to the new part number.
