OrCAD - Tip of the week: Defining default project settings in OrCAD Capture

To maintain uniformity across projects, every organization has some predefined standards. All users should follow the same setting for things like font text, color, page size, grid settings, title block, and so on. Individually changing these settings for every project is a cumbersome and error-prone task. It is preferable to define all these settings at one place such that every new project inherits the standard settings.

 

OrCAD Capture lets you set the default settings for all projects from Options > Design Template window.
