ERROR(ORCIS-6277): Part D9 on the schematic page - has no part number propertY

Hi

Copied some Old design(.dsn) and treid to swap Old PN with the new ones in the CIP Database.

I am getting this message in Session window: Replaced PN for C36: ==> on all those old parts.

New Parts are working fine.

Went in to Part manager to run 'Update All Part Status'. It is not able to find Part Number on the old parts.

Then I am getting: ERROR(ORCIS-6277): Part R42 on the schematic page -  has no part number property.

But i can see it is defined there in CIP Database and has Part number.

Saw that Source Library was pointing to wrong destination. Corrected it still the same results.

But Database Table is still defined as Undefined. How to assign this correctly?

Otherwise, i have to manually changes these parts one by one which is not desired.

Thanks!

See if below Transfer & Update option is checked at your end and then try Update part status, you can open this window by going to Options menu> CIS Configuration> Setup

    I

If above option is already checked, than we might need to link the old part with the database again by RMB> Link Database Part from part manager.

Let me know if it doesn't help then we will contact you through other channel to check at your end.

Yes, Transfer and Update Options are checked already.

Have tried to link database part but it does not find the correct part automatically.

So, i have now manually replaced every part by verifying the Old PN with the new CIP Database PN.
