Connection of offpage with GND symbol

Hello,

As seen in the below image, I have added one offpage conection to GND which means that I have shorted GND with this offpage connection.

But in our design, this two nets are separated. One has become GND and other 24V_IO_3.

Can anyone answer why this two nets are not shorted in entire design.
