How to create a new Pin shape in OrCAD Capture CIS?

Pin shapes are critical in a schematic design to represent the connectivity. Apart from the default pin shapes, Capture allows user to create customized pin shapes.

Open the Capsym library and select Design > New Symbol > Pin Shape.

The new library window opens where you can assign the name and create the required shape.

Now, you can browse this custom-created Pin shape and place it in your design by going to Place > Pin while creating or Editing the Part.
