OrCAD – Tip of the week: Saving the design name in lowercase

You can easily save design name in lowercase (example: test_design).

To save the design filename in lowercase, follow these steps:

  • In the Design and Libraries section under Extended Preferences, uncheck the Save design name as UPPERCASE
  • Click Apply and OK.

Now, create a new design. The design name will be in the same case as you have entered.

Hope you have found it easy and interesting to use this feature.

Regards,

Yugandhar.
